As the assistant principal at Martin Park, my role involves creating a supportive environment that fosters student success academically, socially, and emotionally. One way that I do this is by making myself visible in all areas of the school. Being visible allows me to build relationships with the students. Building these relationships is vital because it allows them to know that I care about them and I am available to them whenever they need me. Making these connections with my students helps them feel safe, noticed, and loved.
